Knitting Pattern | HAPPY Sweater Maxi | Size XXS - 2XL

The HAPPY Sweater Maxi is a warm, cozy, oversized sweater knitted top-down with raglan shaping. After knitting the neckline and raglan increases the sleeves are separated from the body. First, the body is knitted in the round followed by the sleeves. The colorful pattern is created by holding two different gradient yarns together, producing a unique colour mix in each sweater. The neckline and cuffs are crafted with a folded rib pattern. The pattern recommends using a provisional cast-on for the neckline, though a regular cast-on can be used as explained in the pattern.

Each non-standard knitting technique includes a link to a corresponding YouTube video for guidance. The bind-off technique is also explained step-by-step with photos. This pattern is suitable for confident beginners.

  The HAPPY Sweater Maxi should have a positive ease of 15-20 cm (5.9–7.9 inches)* added to your chest circumference. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) are designed for a chest circumference of (75-80) 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm. If you're unsure, I recommend choosing one size smaller.

Since the pattern specify that the HAPPY sweater is to be knitted using two different colour codes, the yarn consumption is provided in 100 g increments. However, if only one colour code is used, the required yarn amount is as follows:
