Crochet Pattern Pillow Cover Rustic Wood Slice Autumn Decor Cushion

This PDF crochet pattern (US terms) will guide you to crochet a rustic wood slice pillow cover, as shown in pictures, made using double strands of acrylic DK yarn and crochet hook J (6 mm).

The cover works up fairly quick by crocheting it with 2 strands of yarn, held together. The pillow cover has an identical front and back side, with a button closure at the edge, to easily insert / remove the pillow for washing.
Front post stitches in various lengths are used to create an interesting textured surface on the bark of the wood slice. The pillow cover will be worked in continuous rounds.

Finished size will be approx. 18.9” (48 cm) in diameter, suitable for a similar sized round pillow insert. This pattern is also suitable for wool or cotton yarn, as long as you can meet gauge given in the instructions.
Stylecraft Special DK and Scheepjes Scrumptious were used to create the pillow cover in the pictures. You can use the same yarn brands and given colors, or use your own favourite yarn brands and color combinations.
