Add a splash of summer to your table – with handmade crochet coasters!
These colorful glass coasters are quick and fun to make – perfect for a relaxing evening on the sofa.
Whether as a creative gift, a small token of appreciation, or a cheerful pop of color in your kitchen – these practical accessories are true all-rounders and are sure to bring joy!
For this pattern, you should already have a basic understanding of the C2C (corner-to-corner) crochet technique as well as how to carry and change yarn colors.
I start with a beginning chain of 5 instead of the usual 6 – this creates a slightly tighter stitch pattern and reduces the size of the typical C2C gaps. A more detailed explanation can be found within the pattern itself.
The pattern includes a clear row-by-row guide indicating whether it's an increase or decrease row and how many blocks should be worked in each color.
Here’s an example:
Row 9 – Increase: 2 G, 2 W, 2 Y, 1 P, 2 G (9 blocks)
You’ll also find a chart for each design, making it easy to follow along and complete your project step by step without confusion.
Approx. 12 x 12 cm
Crochet Hook 3.5 mm
Approx. 12 gr Cotton DK yarn for each Design in different colours
Gauge:
It is not that important as it just will affect the finished size
