This beautiful coaster brings a touch of summer into the house. A very pretty hole pattern that even beginners should have fun with. As the inner part is made with single crochets only, your glass/cup will be stable and won't wobble.
The pattern (6 pages) is quite simple. If you know the basics about crocheting, you should not have any problems.

The coaster has a diameter of about 14 cm.
You need (apiece):
Cotton yarn in the following colours:
Brown (kaffee 162) – about 6 g
Yellow (sonne 208) – about 11 g
( ) = Schachenmayr Catania
100 % cotton – 50 g = 125 m / 1.75 oz = 137 yds
crochet hook: 2.5 mm
