Samtpfoten Socks

This pattern is written toe up and you can knit the socks on circulars or dpns. The instruction comes in 3 widths (60/68/72 stitches), suitable for sizes US 6 to 12.
You can choose between two gussets (for low/medium instep or for high instep).
You’ll get individual charts for each element, including toes and heel.
The pattern is test knitted.

make stitches
fair isle knitting / stranded knitting, partly with longer floats of 8 st
horseshoe heel
ribbing

US 6 to 12.

Yarn:
• MC: Socks yarn, fingering, 14wpi, approx. 30grams
• CC: Socks yarn, fingering, 14wpi, approx. 30grams.
• for toes, heel and hem: another 25grams. May be MC or CC.
