Who finds the most matching fishes? Crochet a funny game for the whole family that trains retention capacity, colours, coordination, understanding of rules and communication.
All components are described detailed, many photos help to understand the production process.
This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: magic ring, chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, crochet in rounds, colour change, sewing (crochet terms in british english!) The fishes are easy made but require some patience until lots of them are done.
If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 140y/50g (125m/50g) and a hook size 3, the fishes will become about 6.5 cm wide. It can be useful to take a smaller hook that the stitches become tighter and the coloured nether layer cannot be seen through holes in the upper layer.
