The fishes are easy made but require some patience until lots of them are done.

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 140y/50g (125m/50g) and a hook size 3, the fishes will become about 6.5 cm wide. It can be useful to take a smaller hook that the stitches become tighter and the coloured nether layer cannot be seen through holes in the upper layer.
