PATTERN: Saga Snowflake ~ crochet hekle snøfnugg snow christmas virka

This little snow flake is a quick and easy project, and makes for cute ornaments, either for the Christmas tree, to make a bunting, or cute last minute gifts - and it is perfect for stash busting.

Pattern in English (US) and Norwegian.

You will need basic crochet knowledge, including the magic ring. The different techniques are explained with both text and pictures. The English pattern uses US terms.

Gauge measured in a swatch: 12 sc per 10 cm.
One snow flake made with the above materials, measures approx. 10 cm across, and I get 16 snow flakes from one skein.

• 3-4 gr Fluffy yarn. Used here is the yarn Maya by Trysil Garn, a fluffy alpaca blend with 90 metres per 50 grams. Any fluffy yarn will do, but the snow flake holds its shape best if the yarn is on the “sturdy” side.

• Hook size 4.00 mm

• 1 stitch marker

• Tapestry Needle

• ~20 cm 3 mm ribbon/string for hanging
