Hooded jacket (hoodie) ‘Brilliant’ (adults/children, size: 2 y-XXL)

This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated tutorial for crocheting hoodie ‘Brilliant’ for adults (sizes XS to XXL) and children (sizes 2 y. - 13 y.) with the hood and the distinctive pattern of fpdtr.

The jacket is very cosy. It will be your child's perfect companion for evening walks, playing, running around, etc. It is also perfect for sports activities. It can be crocheted for both winter and summer (depending on the wool) and is a unisex raglan jacket (i.e. suitable for boys and girls, for women and men).

Note for the sl. st: This jacket is partly (only cuffs) crocheted with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, crocheted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl st will work very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool. • "Universa" by Schachenmayr, 50 g/125 m, 55 % virgin wool, 45 % polyacrylic. 300 g for size 2-3 y. of the color grey (color no.: 197), or ca. 50 g more for each additional size. You may also need ca. 50 g more for the pockets
• Crochet hook no. 3 and no. 4 (EU-size)
• Buttons, 5 to 6 pieces (depending on the size), diameter from 22 mm to 25 mm (also depending on the size of the jacket)
