Phone stand «Easter lawn» knitted

What I created turned out to be more than just a phone stand — it became a little springtime Easter meadow, full of color and charm. Just like nature awakening in spring, you can choose your favorite yarn shades to create your own blooming bouquet, filled with warmth and joy. The Easter egg can also hold a sweet surprise inside — a few treats, a tiny toy, or a small secret gift waiting to bring a smile.

  

You will need the following materials to crochet:

– YarnArt crazy baby 100 gr /315 m (multi-colored. I knitted these pieces using two strands of yarn.)

– alize simli 100 gr /460 m (green color. I knitted these pieces using two strands of yarn.)

– textured yarn 50 gr /100 m for the hare

– white cotton yarn YarnArt Jeans 50 gr /160 m

– spokes 3

– needle, scissors, compact disc for the base, wire about 70-80 cm, filler, metal weight or any other, plastic case in the shape of an egg.

Abbreviations:

CO – cast on  

K – knit

When knitting, I only used two knitting needles and sewed the pieces together at the end. Therefore, my odd rows consist of knit stitches and my even rows consist of purl stitches. However, if you want to knit with three or four needles, then knit all pieces continuously with knit stitches.

Round base stand

Cast on 12 stitches onto one knitting needle.

Add filler to one side to create a slight elevation.

Easter Egg

For the base, I used a plastic casing made of two parts; I have shown its measurements in the photo. The diameter is 6 cm, and the height is approximately 9 cm. I have already listed the materials above, but I will gladly mention them again: in my case, I knitted with this yarn — I simply fell in love with its color — and worked with two strands held together.

 

Part 1, bottom.

Cast on 8 stitches onto one knitting needle.

Add a small amount of stuffing to the top part of the piece so that it resembles the shape of an egg more closely. Then glue or sew the knitted cover to the plastic casing.

Next, we will create the framework for the future arms, which will allow you to try the upcoming pieces on your project as you work. If you are also using a plastic casing, you may follow the photo for guidance. In the lower part of the plastic piece, make a fairly large hole using a needle or a hole punch. Place the knitted cover onto the plastic base and secure the two parts together, either by gluing or sewing them.

  

Now thread a piece of wire through the entire structure. Shape it to form the outline of the arms, as shown in the photo. Secure the ends of the wire with adhesive tape.

 

 

Hands (2 pcs, white yarn)

Cast on 34 stitches onto one knitting needle.

Tip: It is a good idea to adjust the number of stitches to fit your frame, as your stitch count may vary depending on the yarn you choose and the length of your wire framework.

Sew the edges of the piece at the wide part and place it on the frame. Add a small amount of stuffing — just enough so that it does not interfere with bending the hand or holding objects comfortably.

Sew the bunny’s face and ears in place, following the photo as a guide. Use pink yarn to embroider the nose and mouth, and brown yarn to outline the closed eyes.

 

Attach the bunny’s head to a wooden stick using glue. Make holes in the top part of the egg and insert the wooden skewer.

At the widest part of the petal, make a couple of stitches, pulling the edges to give the edge a slightly different shape.

Sew the flower petals to the core.

   

Next, you can decorate the flowers, for example with beads.

 

Alternatively, you can create the flower in a different style, as shown in the photo, using yarn. Cut the yarn into small pieces and attach them around the center using a fringe technique.

  

Then sew the petals in place so that the knots remain on the inside. The photo shows how the front and back of the flower should look. Finally, trim the yarn ends to tidy the flower.

  

Flower petals option 4 (white chamomile, I have 15 pieces)

Cast on 18 stitches onto one knitting needle.

1. 18 K

3. Close 17 loops

Leave the stitches on the needle and pick up 18 additional stitches. Continue knitting in the same manner for 3 more rows on these extra stitches.

    

Repeat this process to create more petals until you have enough to form a complete circle around the center. In my case, I needed 15 petals.

Once you have the desired number of petals, bind off all remaining stitches to create a petal strip.

 

Now, sew the petals onto the flower center.

 

Green part of chamomile (14 pcs)

Cast on 10 stitches onto one knitting needle.

1. 10 K

3. Close 9 loops

Leave the stitches on the needle and pick up 10 additional stitches. Continue knitting in the same manner for 3 more rows on these extra stitches. I now have 14 petals on the needle.

Then we continue knitting.

Now we assemble the composition. Place a weight in the bottom part of the egg, or leave space for a hidden surprise.

Slide the green leaves and flowers onto the wooden sticks and secure them with glue. Arrange the flowers on the meadow and on the egg’s surface according to your taste.
