Ladybug dress for a little doll

The dress is suitable for a small doll. I have a 16cm tall articulated doll.

Materials:

You can choose yarn at your discretion, with similar color, composition and thickness. Acrylic, cotton will do. Yarn consumption depends on its thickness and a crochet hook size. My dress consumed: around 12g of red colour yarn, 3g of black colours.

I used 100% acrylic yarn, 400 m/100 g, 1,5 mm crochet hook.

Colors: red and black.

- A crochet hook, I have 1,5 mm crochet hook

- A sewing needle, matching sewing threads.

Abbreviations:

ch – chain

st - stitch

sl st – slip stitch

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

dc - double crochet

tr - treble crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)

dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)

(...) x N times – repeat instructions in brackets N times

Work with black colour yarn. Crochet in rows.

Since we crochet in rows, we make the decreases in both stitch links so that the stitches are not deformed.

Start with the back of the dress.

Work 17 ch.

Row 1. starting from 2nd ch from hook: 16 sc, 1 ch, turn = 16

Row 2. 16 sc, 1 ch, turn = 16
