Moneybox "Heart"

Materials:

– alize forever 50 gr /300 m (or any of your favorite yarns)

– alize simli 100 gr /460 m

– 1,25 and 1,75 mm crochet hook

– a sewing needle, a pair of scissors, hollow fiber stuffing, some plastic napkin

Abbreviations:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

inc – increase

dec - decrease, two single crochets together

The size of my moneybox is about 9.5 x 9 cm. You can draw a heart from the screen using my stencil. We need two such blanks. Use an awl or large needle to punch holes. Leaving some gap intact. See the photo.

I crocheted with alize simli yarn in two strands. I got 78 sc around the perimeter of the workpiece.

1. ch, 78 sc, turn

2. into the back loop 78 sc, ch, turn

3 – 6. 78 sc, ch, turn

7. into the front loop 78 sc, ch, turn

8. 78 sc together with the second plastic part

Now we will make a strip on the remaining empty part. On the edge we do 7 sc. See the photo.

2 – 9. 8 sc, ch, turn

You may have a different number of rows. Be guided by your model. Cut the thread, fasten.

2. 6 inc = 12 sc

3, 4. 12 sc

Connect both parts 3 sc from the inside.

Keep crocheting hearts.

2. dec, 7 sc, dec, 7 sc = 16

3. dec, 6 sc, dec, 6 sc = 14

4. dec, 5 sc, dec, 5 sc = 12

5. dec, 4 sc, dec, 4 sc = 10

Stuff lightly.

6. dec, 3 sc, dec, 3 sc = 8

7. dec, 2 sc, dec, 2 sc = 6

Bind off. Cut off thread.

Thread the thread over the edges as shown in the photo. Fasten small hearts at the ends.
