Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Detailed pattern that just requires regular stitch counting. US + (UK terms). You should be able to do single crochets (double crochets), half double crochets (half treble crochets), double crochets (treble crochets), chain stitches and slip stitches (single crochets). Every single step, from crocheting around the ring to attaching the fringes, is explained in words and shown on photos. The pattern also includes instructions on how to crochet a strong cord to hang the lantern. The instructions consist of 13 pages.

Size Information

Size of the finished lantern:
Approx. 33.5in (85cm) from the top to the bottom ring. Approx. 39.5in (100cm) incluiding fringes. The size of the lantern will vary depending on how tightly you crochet.

Materials List

  • 5-6 balls of cotton yarn (for example, Hobbii Rainbow 8/6, light worsted/DK, 1.75oz/115 yards (50g/105m).
  • 5 wooden or metal rings: 1x6in (15cm), 2x 8in (20cm), 2x 11.5-12in (30cm) in diametre
  • Size 7 (4.5mm) hook for the lantern and size D-3/10 (3.0mm) for the cord
  • Scissors

Einfach Genial!
Ich hatte lange nach einer Anleitung für einen Lampion gesucht und zum Glück bin ich hier fündig geworden. Die Anleitung ist einfach geschrieben und gut erklärt. Meine zweite Lampe habe ich bereits mit neuen Mustern aufgepeppt. Besonders im Mittelteil machen diese sich besonders gut (Muschelmuster; Kreuzmuster etc.). Mittlerweile habe ich schon 5 Lampions gehäkelt. Sie variieren in Länge und Ringgrößen. Mit Lichterkette im Innenbereich ein echter Hingucker.

Tolle Anleitung
Habe das Gefühl, die Maschenzahlangaben ergibt sich nicht so automatisch, man muss diese etwas korrigieren. Ansonsten sehr zufrieden mit der Anleitung.

    Hallo Sonja, habe deine Laterne gehäkelt und sie sieht einfach super aus 😍 wie errechnet sich denn die Maschenzahl für verschiedene Ringgrößen? Habe für den 1. Ring die Angabe 108 Maschen und für den 3. Ring gleicher Größe 81 Maschen?
    Und muss die Maschenzahl für das Muster teilbar durch 3 sein?
    Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen. LG und schöne Ostern

      Hallo liebe Sandra! Ich freue mich sehr, dass deine Lampe schön geworden ist. Die unterschiedliche Maschenzahl ist vollkommen unlogisch, ich weiß 😄, aber einfach das Ergebnis von einigem Ausprobieren. Ich wollte gerne erreichen, dass der erste Ring einigermaßen bequem zu häkeln ist und der dritte Ring schön stramm die Kontur gibt...
      Ich habe keine Rechenregel für das Abnehmen oder Zunehmen bei unterschiedlichen Ringgrößen gefunden und daher bei der FIESTA ganz genau die Ringgrößen und Maschenzahlen vorgegeben.
      Bei der neuen SOL&Luna-Anleitung mit gleichgroßen Ringen ist das anders, da gebe ich eine Faustregel mit der absolut jede Ringgröße mit jeder Garnstärke eine spektakuläre Lampe in beliebiger Größe ergibt. Ich wünsche dir noch viel Spaß beim Häkeln und würde mich über ein Foto freuen! Liebe Grüße aus Mallorca ☀️, Sonja
