This step-by-step pattern explains, with text and many detailed photos, how to crochet rounded lanterns/lampions in a colorful boho style. Two versions are included: one with a canopy top and one without.

Crocheting these Lanterns is relatively easy and therefore well suited for confident beginners.
Basic crochet skills are required (crocheting in the round, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increases and decreases).

The pattern is provided as a PDF and contains 17 pages with numerous color photos that describe and illustrate each step in detail.

A finished lantern measures 15 cm wide and approximately 20 cm long (excluding tassels/trim).

Materials required:

• Crochet hook size 3.0 mm
• Cotton yarn (sport/fine) in various colors
• Metal rings, Ø 10 cm (2x) and 15 cm (1x)
• Optional: LED light with remote, electric tealight, solar bulb, etc.
• Optional: wooden beads, pompoms, charms
