You should be able to do single crochets (double crochets), half double crochets (half treble crochets), double crochets (treble crochets), chain stitches and slip stitches (single crochets). Every single step, from crocheting around the ring to attaching the fringes, is explained in words and shown on photos. The pattern also includes instructions on how to crochet a strong cord to hang the lantern. The instructions consist of 13 pages.

Size of the finished lantern:
Approx. 33.5in (85cm) from the top to the bottom ring. Approx. 39.5in (100cm) incluiding fringes. The size of the lantern will vary depending on how tightly you crochet.

• 5 wooden or metal rings: 1x6in (15cm), 2x 8in (20cm), 2x 11.5-12in (30cm) in diametre
• Size 7 (4.5mm) hook for the lantern and size D-3/10 (3.0mm) for the cord
