Crochet easter Chicken, Easter Eg - Easterdecor

This is a crochet pattern for a simple crocheted Easter chicken or Easter egg. You can crochet the chickens or eggs with one color or with gradient yarn, but also with thicker or thinner yarn.

The pattern are also suitable for beginners who already have basic knowledge of crocheting. You need to know single crochet stitches, stitch increases and stitch decreases.

The chickens are about 6 cm tall with ears. But if you use the other yarn, they can be bigger or smaller.

I crocheted the chickenss with cotton yarn (catania from Schachenmayer) with a 2.5mm crochet hook. We still need safety eyes, toy stuffing, scissors and sewing needle.
