For Betty, soft-draping woven fabrics are suitable, with viscose and silk fabrics being particularly good choices. Crêpe Georgette is also a suitable option.

Cotton woven fabrics are too stiff and do not drape as nicely. However, for cotton fabrics, you can insert elastic at the hem to gather it and prevent it from standing away from the body. In this case, you can use cotton fabrics as well.

You'll also need a lightweight (interfacing) for the neck facing (G710, H180).
