This modern crochet technique can be applied in various ways.
The pattern is written in English (US-terms). Basic knowledge and mastery of chain, slip stitches, single crochets, double crochets, and front post double crochets (which are also explained in the pattern) are required. You will receive a PDF document that can be downloaded immediately after payment. This is a step-by-step guide that includes color photos.
The finished ball is approx. 8 cm in diameter.
To create this stylish Christmas decoration, you will need (per Christmas ornament):
Styrofoam or plastic balls, approximately 7 cm in size. Alternatively, you can also use stuffing.
For this ball size, you will need glitter yarn and cotton yarn, each about 125 m per 50 g (Sport (12 wpi)). I used about 15 g of yarn for one ball.
You can use a crochet hook in size 3 mm (D/3; 10).
Stitch markers.
Additionally, you will need ribbons for hanging.
