Crochet pattern for a keychain in the shape of a monstera leaf: the finished leaf is approx. 9 × 8 cm / 3.5 × 3.2 in and hangs from a hand-knotted macramé cord with two wooden beads. PDF pattern in English and German.
The leaf is worked in rows, starting from the middle, section by section. Letters and numbers show exactly where each new section starts and in which order the sections are worked, an arrow marks the direction, and every section comes with photos. Two identical halves are joined with a blanket stitch – so the leaf looks the same from both sides.
At the end you knot a cord from off-white yarn using square knots, thread on two wooden beads and attach the key ring. A lovely little gift – and one ball of yarn makes many of them.
