Sports hats “Freestyle” (all sizes, cable braid pattern)

The PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated pattern for crocheting a “Freestyle” hat with a cable braid pattern. Crocheting the cable pattern is also explained in the video. This hat can be crocheted for both children and adults. You can crochet it with either a simple cuff or a cuff folded upwards.

With this pattern, you can crochet a sports hat in any size for yourself and your child (grandchild) for your next skiing vacation.

I have created a video for the cable braid pattern. You will find the link to the video in the pattern. This video makes crocheting the cable pattern much easier.

ch - crochet chain
fch - foundation chain
dc - double crochet
dtr - double treble croche
bpdc - back post double crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet
fptr - front post treble crochet
bptr - back post treble crochet
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet

All sizes, or rather the size, are adjusted as you crochet the cuff.

• For the beanie: Partner 6 by Phildar, 50g/66 m, 50% polyamide, 25% wool, 25% acrylic, 150 g in any color, alternative: Lana Grossa Bingo, 50 g/80 m, 100% virgin wool
• Crochet hook size 4.5 (5; 5.5) see size chart
• Fur pom-poms or pom-pom set from Prym and 50 g of wool of your choice
• Tools: pin, thick needle, thin needle
