Bikers Loop

Well, is there a little soft rocker in you too? Let her out…she’ll love the cozy Bikers Loop.

It is a simple and addictive knit that uses a combination of knits and purls to create the pattern in the middle.

My Bikers Loop is 55cm/21,6” in diameter and 27cm/10,6” in height. It is easy to use alternative yarns for this pattern, just adjust the needle size if necessary. You can change the height by adding some sticking stitch rows under and above the skull pattern.

I have chosen the combination of two yarns together as I like it to be a bit softer which comes from the mohair in the lace yarn.

It is hard to tell how much yarn I have needed. The weight of the loop is 60gr so it is easy to use your scraps of yarn.

• Fingering (4ply, 14WPI) & Laceweight (2ply)
• My Bikers Loop is knitted with Frida Fuchs Lametta Sock (75% Merino 20% Nylon 5% Stellina, 100g/400m), Colour “Etna” and Frida Fuchs Dufte Lace (74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Mulberry Silk, 50g/300m), Colour Farbe „Etna“. Its weight is 60gr which means I needed around 50gr Fingering yarn and around 10gr Laceweight.
