I mainly crochet with 100% cotton yarn and hook size 2,0. You can use any other yarn and also a different hook size. If you use other yarn or a different sized hook, the mentioned size of the figure may vary. If you crochet with Carina yarn (similar to Schachenmayr Catania) and a hook size 2,0, Friedolin will be ca. 18 cm and the Heart decoration will be ca. 28 cm high.

I always state a required amount of yarn of 50 g, even if only a small
amount is I needed. You can use any other color.

Material Friedolin

• • Styrofoam cone, 12 cm high, diameter 7 cm (You can also stuff!)
• 1 x comic eyes
• 1 x 50 gr. white or brown
• 1 x 50 gr. red
• 1 x 50 gr. orange
• some yellow
• black star twine
• Fiberfill
• Scissors / sewing materials / glue
• Patience and attention to detail

Material Heart Decoration

1 x styrofoam wreath / half, diameter 22cm
-You can also use a larger wreath - adjust the styrofoam plate to the wreath accordingly. This is glued to the top of the wreath and must not slip through the opening in the middle.

1 x styrofoam plate, diameter 15cm
-The thickness of the plate does not play an important role here. While crocheting, I explain how you can adjust the cover if it doesn't quite suit you.

2 x very stable wire, length 52cm (I used tension wire from the fence)

2 x apple green

2 x Wine red or red

For the little hearts I used leftovers in cream, pink, red and soft apricot.

Fiberfill
