I was wondering what Mole would do in winter. So I went to the forest and met Bodo there. He is warmly dressed and goes for a walk there :)

This pattern explains step by step how to crochet Bodo. The instructions consist of 22 pages and are provided with many pictures.

MR - Magic Ring
sc - single crochet
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
tc - turning chain
Pop - Popcorn stitch (5dc in 1sc and finish together)
FLO - Front Loop Only
BLO - Back Loop Only
(..) x? - the section in brackets needs to be repeated ? times

I mainly work with cotton yarn from Carina (comparable to Catania) and with a NS of 2.0. Under these conditions, Bodo will be around 20 cm tall without a hat and around 30 cm with a hat. You can also use any other cotton yarn with a length of 125m at 50 gr or your favorite wool. The size can then change.

I always state a required amount of yarn of 50 g, even if only a small
amount is needed. You can use any other color.
• 2 x 50 gr. black
• 1 x 50 gr. white
• 1 x 50 gr. skin color
• 1 x 50 gr. grey
• 2 x 50 gr. your choice of colors (hat and scarf)
• 2 x safety eyes 15mm or half pearls
• 2 x pipe cleaner
• Fiberfill / Granules (to weight down the feet)
• Scissors / sewing materials / glue
• If you like rouge and doll glasses (not necessary)
