Here is a new beautiful dolls dress for you, this time in really nice and fresh orange tones.
The pattern (16 pages) includes the dress with 2 versions of the top (modern and vintage fashion doll) as well as a matching hat. You can finish the dress in three different lengths - mini, midi or maxi.
If you know the basics about crocheting and have already done one or the other project, you should not have any problems making this beautiful dress.
chains, single crochets, slip stitch, double crochets, half double crochets, crocheting in single rows as well as in closed rounds, increase, decrease, color change
The dress is designed for a „modern“ fashion doll (smaller bosom and wider waistline), but at the end of the pattern I am also including an additional version of the top that fits for a vintage fashion doll.
The dress should fit for all traditional small play dolls.
Cotton yarn in the following colours:
Creme white (crème 130) – about 20 g
Dark orange (jaffa 189) – about 23 g
Medium orange (orange 281) - about 12 g
Light orange (cantaloupe Schachenmayr Trend 288) – about 16 g
( ) = Schachenmayr Catania
100 % Cotton – 50 g = 125 m / 1.75 oz = 137 yds
2 snap fasteners
crochet hook: 2.5 mm (maybe also 2 mm)
