For experienced knitters and advanced beginners who would like to try cables. However, the instructions do not include a tutorial for cables!

The instructions are laid out in a very clear tabular round-by-round description as well as charted - you can choose which you prefer.

One size fits all – thanks to the elasticity of the rib pattern, the cuffs fit all women. If necessary, the size can be varied slightly by changing the size of the knitting needles.

• Pink: Lana Grossa Alta Moda Alpaca (90 % alpaka, 5 % wool, 140 m/50 g), approx 65 to 70 g, colour 89
• Turquoise: Mirasol Sisa (60 % wool, 40 % alpaka, 125 m/50 g), ca. 65 bis 70 g, colour 014
• Orange: Lana Grossa Cool Wool Big (100 % merino wool, 120 m/50 g), approx 70 to 75 g
• Double pointed needles size 3,5 or 4,0 mm /
• US 4, 5 or 6 / UK 10, 9 or 8
• Stitch holder or big safety pin
• Cable needle

In principle, you can use all yarns with which you achieve a similar rgauge. Since less than 100 g are used for the cuffs, why not look for suitable yarn in your stash? I tried three different yarns and found the result with the chained yarns (pink and turquoise) the most beautiful. However, the stitch definition is best with the smooth Cool Wool yarn.

Gauge
Cast on 44 sts, k2, p2 in rib pattern in the round. After approx. 10 to 15 rounds, slip the stitches either onto a flexible circular knitting needle or a thick thread. Unstretched, the knitted piece is now approx. 6.5 cm wide - the circumference is therefore approx. 13 cm.
Pull the knitted fabric over your hand until it is about 12 centimetres above the wrist. When the rib pattern pulls apart a little and the knitted fabric lies comfortably on the arm – tight, but not too tight – slip the stitches back onto the sock needles with the same stitch distribution as before and simply continue knitting. If the knitting seems too tight or too loose, use a needle size higher or lower.
