I am happy to present to you my first Barbie Dress.

The pattern (13 pages) includes the dress with 2 versions of the top (modern and vintage Barbie) as well as a matching hat.

If you know the basics about crocheting and have already done one or the other project, you should not have any problems making this beautiful dress.

What skills are you going to need and what will you get

chains, single crochets, slip stitch, double crochets, crocheting in single rows as well as in closed rounds, increase, decrease, color change

Size information

The dress is designed for a „modern“ Barbie (smaller bosom and wider waistline), but at the end of the pattern I am also including an additional version of the top that fits for a Vintage Barbie. The skirt is the same then from round 3 on.
The dress should also fit for all other traditional small play dolls like Petra, Steffi, etc.

Required materials

Cotton yarn in the following colours:
purple (fuchsia 128) – about 13 g
turquoise (tiffany 432) – about 48 g
( ) = Schachenmayr Catania
100 % Cotton – 50 g = 125 m / 1.75 oz = 137 yds

2 snap fasteners

crochet hook: 2.5 mm
