Knitted Slippers SPEEDYSOCKS - No.263E

The SPEEDYSOCKS are knitted from tiptoe to heel with stockinette stitch. The part from the tiptoe to the opening is knitted in round and after that point in rows. The heel is created with decreases and the opening gets a beautiful i-cord edge.

Why did we call them "Speedy"? Probably you will be able to run fast wearing the Speedies :-). But the name is referring to the minimum amount of time it takes to knit them. It takes less than 1 hour for one sock.

Skills: basic skills are required. Everything else is explained in detail and illustrated with many photos and even video tutorials.

Sizes: 6 sizes from EU 35/36 to 45/46 – corresponding UK sizes 3.5 to 12 and US sizes (women´s) 5.5 to (men´s) 11.5

Materials needed:
• 100 g - 150 g (depending on size) yarn with a yardage 100g / 82yds

• e.g. ANUK or the tube yarn TUBO by WoolAffair – yardage 150g / 98yds
  • Set of 4 double-pointed needles size UK 0 (US 11) (8 mm) and a stitch holder
  • 2 loops, e.g. RAFFY by WoolAffair and half-soles, e.g. FELTY by WoolAffair
  • Sewing needle, scissors
