Crochet Pattern "Hedwig" The Squirrel by Wunderlich`s Kreativchaos
Hedwig is a very special guide because this squirrel was the last joint project with one of my Dutch testers. Her name was also Hedwig and unfortunately she died suddenly in August. I gave the squirrel your name in memory of you. I miss her a lot as she has become a real friend to me over the years.
I hope that the squirrel Hedwig brings as much joy into your house as it does me. I always think of "my" Hedwig.

This Pattern explains step by step how to crochet Hedwig. The instructions consist of 32 pages and are provided with many colored detailed pictures.
In my shop you will find a free part with lots of pictures and tips on how to sew on the individual parts correctly.

Abbreviations
MR - Magic Ring
sc - single crochet
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
tc - turning chain
Pop - Popcorn stitch (5dc in 1sc and finish together)
FLO - Front Loop Only
BLO - Back Loop Only
(..) x? - the section in brackets needs to be repeated ? times
I mainly work with 100% cotton and a needle size of 2.0. You can also use
any other wool and also a different needle size. This may change the
specified size of the figure. If you work with Carina (comparable to
Schachenmayr Catania) and a needle size of 2.0, Hedwig will be approx. 23
cm long, approx. 13 cm at the front and approx. 16 cm high at the tail.
Unless otherwise stated, it is always crocheted in spiral rounds and NOT
finished with a slip stitch at the end of the round. If you crochet in rows, this
is indicated separately.
I always state the material as 50 g. You can also use other colors.
There are squirrels in many different colors..
• 3 x 50 gr. light Brown
• 1 x 50 gr. Cream
• 1 x 50 gr. Skin color / soft apricot
• 1 x 50 gr. White
• 1 x 50 gr. Gray
• 1 x 50 gr. dark Brown
• in a small amount Black
• 16 x pipe cleaner
• 1 Safety Nose (Pink, Brown, or Black)
• 2 skewers
• a styrofoam egg height 12 cm, but you can also stuff it
• Fiberfill
• Scissors / sewing materials / glue
You only buy the crochet pattern but NOT the finished figure.
Sale, exchange, duplication and publication (including translation into other languages) of the manual (including publication on the Internet) are prohibited.
