Knitting pattern shawl Minas Tirith

This amazing triangle shawl is knitted sideways. Because of it’s asymmetric shape the shawl can be worn in different ways. The embossed leaves will be an absolutely eyecatcher which can be supported by the application of some tassels.

Needed materials:

• approx. 700 meters [766 yds.] of fingering weight yarn
• circular needle size 3 – 3,5 mm [US 3 - 4]
• stitch marker
• sewing needle
• scissors

For the tassels you should leave approx. 4 grams [0.14 oz] of yarn, alternatively you can choose a different yarn. The tassels as well as using beads are optional so I won't explain the making-of. You will find plenty of instructions on the internet.

The pattern runs 6 pages, it contains only charts (no written pattern!) a diagramm and a link to a video-tutorial for the i-cord-bind-off.
