Autumn branches crochet decoration - very simple and versatile from scraps

The bright autumn leaves bring color into life and into your home!

The small maple leaves can be easily crocheted from scraps of yarn in beautiful autumn colors and used in many ways: As branches in a vase for an atmospheric home decoration, simply on a garland over the door, or a small branch or a single leaf as a loving gift decoration.... The beautiful leaves offer many possibilities of use.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Level of difficulty: very easy, also suitable for beginners with some practice

Required skills: (US term)
SL = slip stitch
CH = chain stitch
SC = single crochet stitch
HDC = half double crochet
DC = double crochet
TR = treble crochet

In addition to the written crochet explanation, the PDF pattern also include the crochet chart for the maple leaf and of course many detailed and explained step by step photos, of course also for making the branches and for coloring the leaves, so that you can easily recreate this beautiful autumn decoration successfully.

Size Information

The maple leaves are about 6 x 6.5 cm = 2.4 x 2.6 inch
the branches have a length of about 30 cm = 11.8 inches

You can, of course, make smaller or larger branches.

Cotton yarn LL 125m-50g = 137yds-1.75oz / Sport 12 wpi / 5 ply / fine
approx. 8 g = 0.28 oz in autumn colors or yellow
Crochet hook EU 3.0 mm / US size D / UK size 10
Scissors, tape measure

liquid laundry stiffener (approx. 1 capful of it)
Household gloves (alternatively: 2 freshness bags)
small bowl
1 sheet of baking paper or 1 plastic bag
5x stiff flower stem wire 20 gauge, 30 cm = 12“ long
Pliers for bending and shortening wire
brown florist crepe tape

Optional for the yellow-colored leaves to make them more colorfull:
Pastels chalk / Soft Pastels (Artist supplies, craft store)
Cutter knife or other knife with thin blade
1 soft eye shadow brush approx. 1 cm = 0.4“ wide
Waste paper as backing
Hairspray/hair lacquer (inexpensive will do)

Sehr schöne Deko für den Herbst
ich habe gleich einen ganzen Strauß Zweige mit Blättern gehäkelt. Dank der schönen Anleitung habe ich gleich einen ganzen Strauß gehäkelt und wie in der Anleitung gezeigt bunt gefärbt, das sieht sehr schön aus. Danke für die schöne Anleitung!

Diesen tollen Schirm mit den Tulpen kann man super nacharbeiten. Die Idee ist einfach bezaubernd. In Wort, Bild und Schrift überzeugt die Anleitung. Ich liebe diese Anleitungen mit Herz!
