What adorable little dogs schnauzers are. I love their bushy eyebrows and beards, it makes them look like little old men, and gives them a kind of melancholy look as if they are sad.
For something a bit different the Schnauzer tea cosy is sitting and offering his paw. I thought this would be a great composition for a dog and would give it more interest.
All of the 'hairy' parts of the dog are knitted with a loopy stitch. There is a help video on Youtube for this stitch, the link is included in the pattern.
He's such a cute and fun little fellow, and looks amazing on the teapot.
