Knitting Pattern Dishcloth / Washcloth "Peace" - easy

Would all political rulers knit, the world would be a more peaceful place for sure…!
Though we cannot save the world, at least we can start with small things. And knit a symbol for peace! The cloth is very easy to work with only knits and purls.

The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this dishcloth or washcloth, so even beginners with basic knitting skills will succeed. And if there should be any questions, I`ll be happy to help!

Required skills:

• basic knitting skills (cast on, cast off, knit and purl)
• optional (for the handle): basic crochet skills (chain, sling stitch, single stitch)

You will get very detailed directions with written instructions for each row.

With a gauge of 25 stitches x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm, size of the dishcloth will be approx. 23,5 cm x 23,5 cm.

• Schachenmayr Catania (100 % cotton, 125 m/ 50 gr), approx. 40-50 gr in your favourite colour
• For a washcloth or a finer dishcloth you could use finer yarn with 155-180 m / 50 gr (Schachenmayr Organic Cotton or Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo are wonderfully soft for a washcloth)
• 2,5 mm (US 1 or 2) knitting needles
• Crochet hook 3 mm (optional, for the handle)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
