House socks "Starry night”, Sizes: 34-47, cable braid pattern

The extensive, richly illustrated PDF crochet pattern for crocheting house socks with the cable braid pattern, sizes 34 to 47. With these house socks your feet never freeze! Also nice as a small gift for friends and relatives. You can easily change the size by crocheting the middle shorter or longer.

The socks can be crocheted for both women and men. For men, instead of cable stitch, you can crochet only the upper cuff of sl st and fold the cuff down.

Attention! The socks are crocheted partially (only the shank) with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting the socks, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
