Climate Change Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

Product description

Global warming and climate change are such a hot topic at the moment and your teapot can keep hot too with the Climate Change Tea Cosy made with this 7 page knitting pattern.

Global warming is causing sea levels to rise and at the same time causing more extreme weather and flooding, and this is represented in the main tea cosy with the high water level.

The top of the tea cosy has two big industrial chimneys pumping out thick grey smoke and causing pollution. There is a thermometer on the side of the cosy, illustrating rising temperatures.

In contrast, the cosy also depicts a wind turbine, a solar panel and the recycling symbol, as well as a tree as symbols of hope and the way forward to lower carbon and pollution levels.

The canary has become a big part of the climate change and cleaner air symbolism after miners used to use canaries as a way of detecting toxic air levels in mines.

It's a wonderful tea cosy for people who care about out planet and want to start conversations about global warming and climate change and all of the issues that it causes.

The Climate Change tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!

This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Climate Change tea cosy.
