Crochet pattern for a popular family game tic tac toe "garden"

Tic tac toe is a popular family game with simple rules but nevertheless always exciting. Here sweet strawberries and juicy apples play together in the garden on a green lawn.

This tutorial will accompany you step by step to a game for the whole family. Some pictures will help you to understand the production process.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, colour change, crochet in rows and rounds, embroidering and sewing (crochet terms in british english!).

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 140y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 3, the field will get a side length of approx. 19 cm and the tokens will become about 3.5 and 4.5 cm wide.
