This pattern explains step by step how to crochet the knitting eggs. The instructions consist of 25 pages and are provided with many pictures.

  -Increase and decrease in stitches

I mainly work with cotton yarn from Carina (comparable to Catania) and with a NS of 2.0. Under these conditions the egg will be about 22 cm tall. You can also use any other cotton yarn with a length of 125m at 50 gr or your favorite wool. The size of the egg and the entire figure can then change.

I always give the material as 50 gr, even if only a small one
Amount is needed. You can use other colors as well.

• 1 styrofoam egg 12cm high
• 2 kebab skewers
• 2 toothpicks and 2 small pearls that fit on the toothpicks
• 2 x pipe cleaner wire
• granules
• Wooden letters (max 1.5cm high)
• felt-tip pens
• 2 safety eyes 8, 10 or 12mm
• 50 grams of brown
• 50 gr pink
• 50 grams of cream
• 50 gr white
• 50 grams of yellow
• 50 gr pink or apple green
• Cotton wool
• Sewing utensils, glue
• Round marker
• Crochet hook NS 2.0
