Crochet Pattern Schildbert the waterturtle

Here I offer you the crochet pattern for my turtle in the form of a PDF file - not a finished animal!
The instructions are written in German and extend over nine pages.

You need basic beginner knowledge of crocheting - i.e .:

• crochet in the round and in rows,
• Double stitches and crochet together, (
• Turning) chain stitches,
• Slip stitches,
• single crochet

I crocheted my turtle with a needle size 2.5 and a thread with LL135m / 50g and it was about 18cm tall.
however, if the thread is thicker or the needle is larger, the size will change.

It is only important that all parts of Schildbert are crocheted with yarn of the same length, otherwise the proportions will no longer match.

2 balls of 50g each in the main color
1 ball of 50g for the belly plate and the shell in cream / beige
1 ball of 25g for the edge of the shell in light brown
then a little white and black for the eyes and a contrasting color to the main color for the accents.

Crochet hook of the size you prefer to use to crochet the corresponding yarn (2 - 3)

Needle and thread for sewing together and sewing together, scissors, cotton wool
