Free crochet pattern scarf // loop // cowl // moebius-scarf

Crossy-Moebius is a simple but very effective loop with a great "twist".
Due to its pattern it can be worn on both sides and is even suitable for men.
You can crochet this loop scarf in many yarn thicknesses and also in every desired size.
For a children's moebius I recommend about 500 - 600 meters of yarn, for an adult about 800 - 1000 meters.

This moebius was developed from the pattern for the scarf "Crossy".

This moebius-scarf is totally adjustable to the individual size.
To determ the measurments please measure the head circumference and multiply it with 2.5 if the moebius should fit twice around the neck.

• depending on the desired size, approx. 800 - 1000 metres of yarn (e.g. a 3 or 4 plied yarn cake or sock yarn)
• Crochet hook (to make the moebius nice and loose, I recommend using a needle size bigger than usual. I had a 3 plied cake and used a hook size 4 mm)
• Scissors
• sewing needle
• if necessary, a stitch marker to mark the start of the round
