Shawl / Stole “Yardila BE” – crochet pattern

With my new instructions you can crochet beautiful little hearts. You can use it to make a shawl, a stole, a baby blanket or even a large blanket. This pattern has a great 3D effect and is a little more compact. I recommend increasing your usual crochet hook size by 0.5 to 1, even if you crochet more tightly.
You can work the shawl as long and as wide as you like, as the pattern repeats after just a few rows. The pattern is not that easy, which means you should be familiar with the basic techniques and FPdc or BPdc, but the result is impressive!

The 18-page instructions show the individual steps, lots of pictures and there is also a crochet script at the end. The shawl is intended for advanced crocheters, beginners may find it a little difficult. Special stitches are explained separately in words and pictures.

The following stitches and techniques are used:
Chain stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, Front Post double crochet, Back Post double crochet, 3 od 2 Back Post double crochet around the body of 1 stitch, 2 Front Post double crochet around the body of 1 stitch, 2 Front Post double crochet crochet together, 2 Back Post double crochet crochet together

I have crocheted a slightly wider shawl and with the specified materials my shawl was 190 cm long and 45 cm wide. If you are crocheting looser or tighter or using a different needle size, the size and material consumption will of course vary.
