Crochet a pirate monkey – a PDF crochet pattern for a baby rattle: a little pirate monkey with a red cap and an eye patch sits on a striped rattle ring. The ring is easy for small hands to hold, and a rattle ball is hidden in the head.

Everything is crocheted from yarn scraps – blue, brown, beige, white, red, rust and black, just a little of each. The stripes make the ring stand out, and the cap has two ties that are knotted together. A lovely gift for a new baby or a christening.
