“The flowers of spring are winter’s dreams!" (Khalil Gibran)
Cuffs/fingerless mitts are a beautiful accessory, especially in the transition period when you don't really want to wear gloves anymore but still want to have warm hands. The lace pattern with the little bumps reminds me of sprouting tulips, which slowly but surely push their way out of the ground after the cold season and will soon bloom. In bright colors, they defy the last winter winds and give us a glimpse of spring!
With these instructions, you can knit arm warmers (without thumb holes) and hand warmers (with thumb holes)! Both versions are described! Knit in rounds with double-pointed needles - and, for the thumb holes, also in rows for a short section. Two different lace patterns with small bobbles form the decorative element, while a ribbed pattern ensures a good fit. The pattern is both charted and written.
Basic knowledge and some practice in knitting is all you need. All steps are explained in detail. Patterns are charted and written. For techniques that might not be quite so familiar - such as the Elastic bind Off - links to helpful videos are included.
You will receive a detailed knitting instruction over 11 pages in English, with material specifications, yarn alternatives, charts, row by row descriptions, helpful tips, links and photos.
