Crochet pattern for little Easter bunnies in three sizes – an instant download PDF, in English and in German in one file.

Little Easter bunnies worked in one piece: body, head and both ears grow without joining anything. The only part sewn on is the pompon tail. The face is a slanted cross in black yarn with two half pearls glued above it as eyes. The same pattern gives you three sizes – 15, 17 and 20 cm tall, depending on the hook and the rounds. They fit into any Easter basket and make a good project for in between.

Worked in rounds.

You should know these stitches:
single crochet, magic ring, decrease and increase.

That is all it takes. Every round is written out separately with the stitch count at the end. How the two ears grow out of the head is described as a step of its own and shown in photos.

Three sizes:

• Size 1: 15 cm tall · 6 cm wide – with hook no. 4
• Size 2: 17 cm tall · 7 cm wide – with hook no. 5
• Size 3: 20 cm tall · 8 cm wide – with hook no. 4

Worked with Schachenmayr Catania Grande, yarn size 4–4,5.

The amounts are per bunny. Used: Schachenmayr Catania Grande – Catania held double works too.

• about 50 g yarn, hook size 4–4,5
• 2 black half pearls, about 6 mm
• a small amount of black yarn, any weight
• a small amount of stuffing
• a piece of white pompon yarn for the tail – you can also make the pompon yourself

Tools:

• crochet hook no. 4 and no. 5
• darning needle
• scissors
• glue

For children under three please embroider the eyes instead of gluing on half pearls.
