This hat can be crocheted sporty or slouchy. For the slouchy beanie crochet it to a total length of 26-27 cm, for a normal hat (sporty hat) crochet it to a total length of 20 cm (explained in the pattern). This hat can be crocheted for children as well as for adults.
Note for the sl. st: This beanie is partly crocheted with the sl. st. Crocheting with the sl. st, crocheted either in the back loop only or in the front loop only, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl. st will work very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
