Lovebirds Tea Cosy

The Lovebirds Tea Cosy is an eye popping colour bananaza with the two colourful lovebirds sitting on top of a bright pink tea cosy.

I was asked by Simply Knitting magazine to design a tea cosy that was inspired by love and hearts for the February issue, which was obviously for a Valentine knitting project.

The birds are easy to make, and with their eyes, posture, and how much you stuff them; you can really give them character.

The Lovebirds tea cosy is great fun to make and they bring a smile to your face and sunshine to your heart every time you use the cosy.

The Lovebirds tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting them very soon!
