The original Tea cosy with made using Stylecraft Special Chunky and DK
The Cosy is made using Chunky and the decoration in Double Knit
GAUGE: 22 Stitches and 30 rows using 4mm needles (but is knitted with smaller needles to make a tight knit)
Yarn : Tea Cosy: CHUNKY: BROWN & LIME GREEN
Ornaments: 50g DOUBLE KNIT: WHITE / YELLOW / LIME GREEN / OLIVE GREEN / DARK BROWN OR BLACK

I made this for my granddaughter and she is almost 2. I made the 3-4 so she could wear it longer. It fits her in the chest right now but it is too long but she will be able to wear it for many years. Loved this. First clothing I have ever made.
The result in the picture is fine, but I haven't yet attempted it as the construction seemed very complicated. Maybe it isn't to more experienced knitters!
After I made this tea cosy I was disappointed at the size, I could only get it to fit my small teapot it would not go over my larger teapot. But all in all I still love it and still loved making it, everyone who saw it fell in love with it.
