Crochet pattern for a doll's bicycle helmet

This tutorial will accompany you step by step to this lovely accessory for your children’s favourite doll. Many pictures will help you to understand the production process.

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 200y/3.5oz (90m/50g) and a hook size 3.5, the helmet will fit dolls with a head circumference of 34 cm. With some experience you can adapt the pattern to different sizes.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, crochet in rows and rounds (crochet terms in British English!).
