If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 200y/3.5oz (90m/50g) and a hook size 3.5, the helmet will fit dolls with a head circumference of 34 cm. With some experience you can adapt the pattern to different sizes.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, crochet in rows and rounds (crochet terms in British English!).

Genau richtig

Diese Anleitung ist genau was ich gesucht habe als meine Tochter sich einen Helm für ihre Baby Born gewünscht hat. Hier wurde an jedes Detail gedacht. Die Riemen waren etwas zu lang, aber das lässt sich ganz einfach anpassen.

Sehr schöne Idee

Tolle Anleitung. Habe eine Nadelstärke größer genommen - so passt der Helm der BabyBorn (Puppengröße 43 cm). Meine Enkelin hat sich sehr gefreut.
