Crochet pattern croissant and pretzel

Don’t play with your food? Here you are allowed! Tasty croissants and pretzels for children’s toy shop or as decoration for your kitchen.
This tutorial will accompany you step by step to receive 2 sorts of pastries. Some pictures will help you to understand the production process.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. Even so it is suitable for beginners. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, crochet in rows and rounds (crochet terms in British English!).

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the pretzel will get a size of about 11 x 8 cm and the croissant will become approx. 10 cm wide.
