This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated tutorial to crochet a hat with the cable pattern and sl st pattern. The hat looks like it has been knitted. This hat can be crocheted sporty or hanging down. For the hanging hat, it is crocheted up to a total length of 26-27 cm, for a normal hat (sporty hat) up to a total length of 20 cm (explained in the pattern).

Note for the sl. st: This beanie is partly crocheted with the sl. st. Crocheting with the sl. st, crocheted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl. st will work very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool. How to crochet the sl st is explained in the video (link in the pattern).
