This quick and easy knitting DK pattern comes with instructions for 6 mths to 2 year olds
TENSION/GAUGE: 22/24 stitches x 30/32 rows = 10cm x 10cm (4ins x 4ins) in Stocking stitch using 3.25mm (US 3 / UK 10)
Original was worked in Rowan Cotton Glace – MC #727 Black, CC1 #858 Aqua,
CC2 #856 Mineral & a small amount of (CC3) #741 Poppy
Good substitute yarns are: Cotton, or mix yarns with the label showing 22/24 stitches x 30/32 rows

I made this for my granddaughter and she is almost 2. I made the 3-4 so she could wear it longer. It fits her in the chest right now but it is too long but she will be able to wear it for many years. Loved this. First clothing I have ever made.
The result in the picture is fine, but I haven't yet attempted it as the construction seemed very complicated. Maybe it isn't to more experienced knitters!
After I made this tea cosy I was disappointed at the size, I could only get it to fit my small teapot it would not go over my larger teapot. But all in all I still love it and still loved making it, everyone who saw it fell in love with it.
