Knitting pattern Loop "Temptation"

"Temptation" Loop is a design in my Collection, which showcases the possibilities of a simple leafy lace stitch contrasting with garter stitch.

A versatile accessory, "Temptation" Loop can be worn draped elegantly around your neck or wrapped twice for warmth. You will need only one skein of lace-weight yarn, and you can easily enlarge the cowl if you wish.

The cowl is knit flat and then grafted. Skills needed include provisional cast on, simple lace knitting, and working Kitchener stitch over garter stitch.

Finished measurements:
6 inches (15 cm) wide and 54 inches (135 cm) long.

Materials:
1 skein Madelinetosh Priarie 100% Merino wool (840 Yards / 768 Meter / 50g).

Needles:
US 2.5 (3mm) circular needles.

Other:
Crochet hook, waste yarn, tapestry needle, stitch markers, row counter (optional).

Gauge:
38 stitches und 33 rows to 4 inches (10 x 10 cm), in garter stitch, after blocking with US 2.5 (3 mm) needles. Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage requirement.
