It is also a great pattern to make if you don’t know the sex of the child yet, without compromising the total cuteness of the design
Although shown sleeveless, it looks just as cut worn over leggings and a vest. Versatility at its best, as it can therefore be worn in most seasons
American terminology is used and includes metric measurements
SIZES XS S M L XL
AGE in Months 3 6 12 18 24
YARN (50g/1¾oz) 2 3 3 4 4 balls (original was worked using Katia Degrade Sun)

small amount of black or white for worm eyes
BUTTONS (12-15mm/½in) 3 4 4 5 6 - KNITTING NEEDLES: 2.75mm & 3.25mm(US 1 & 3 / UK 12 & 10)

So Beautiful
I made this for my granddaughter and she is almost 2. I made the 3-4 so she could wear it longer. It fits her in the chest right now but it is too long but she will be able to wear it for many years. Loved this. First clothing I have ever made.

Interesting!
The result in the picture is fine, but I haven't yet attempted it as the construction seemed very complicated. Maybe it isn't to more experienced knitters!

After I made this tea cosy I was disappointed at the size, I could only get it to fit my small teapot it would not go over my larger teapot. But all in all I still love it and still loved making it, everyone who saw it fell in love with it.
